Assistant Manager/Supervisor - Are you looking for a career in Retail Management with potential for growth, but you do not want to move out of Richmond in order to move up in the company? We are seeking energetic, team spirited individuals looking for a long-term employment relationship with a company that has been serving Richmond for 50 years. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Customer service is a priority. Must be able to provide a high level of customer service and train staff to do the same.
- Strong communication skills. Being able to effectively communicate with staff is essential to the efficient management of a store.
- Opening and closing the store.
- Merchandising and supervising the maintenance of departments within the store.
- Ordering merchandise and supervision of departmental staff ordering in order to maintain required stock levels at all times.
- Teaming with the Store Manager to evaluate and supervise all store employees and the scheduling of the staff.
